November 2020 Bullet Journal Set-Up

It’s November! Can’t believe we are in our final two months of the year. Thank goodness 2020 is almost over. Saying 2020 was quite a rollercoaster year is surely an understatement but I’m still trying to make the most of our last 2 months with these spreads in my bullet journal. Hope you enjoy and get inspired to be creative this month!

Monthly View

There are many ways to do a monthly layout but I prefer a full two page spread so I can see my whole month at a glance. Also the big boxes give me space to list exams and projects for my last few weeks of school.

A “This Month I Want to…” Spread

This is a little bit of a different spread than I normally do but I like it. Instead of using multiple pages for self-care ideas or other smaller goals I just crammed it all into one. These are all little things I want to do this month. Let’s see how many boxes I can fill by the end of the month.

Life Savers and Miracle Morning Spread

If you guys have not heard of Hal Elrod and The Miracle Morning, I highly recommend you check it out. I started doing these 6 things every morning and it’s given me so much more energy and ambition to strive for the things I want every day.

Here’s the link to the book on Amazon: The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod

My Level 10 Life Goals

Another spread that was inspired by Hal Elrod’s book is Living Your Level 10 Life. Basically, I have 8 categories of my life that I want to work to be better in. The goal is to get to Level 10. I list small goals under each category and if I achieve all or most of my goals I move up a level.

Now, this ranking is entirely up to you. There are no actual rules for how to move up to the next level. This is just how I do it.

Habit Tracker

Next up is a classic habit tracker. This month I’m tracking: no snooze, yoga, meditation, reciting affirmations, going on a morning run, journal and reading. That may seem like a lot but most of them are part of the Miracle Morning Life Savers. As long as I get up early and do my miracle morning every day, these habits should be no problem, right? ?

Gratitude Everyday!

Last but not least, I have my gratitude log. Practicing gratitude every day really helps shift your mind to look for the good in every day. Especially around Thanksgiving, we all need a little reminder to be grateful for even the little things, especially this year.

I hope you enjoyed and got inspired by my spreads for this month. Listed below are the supplies I used for this month if you are interested:

October 2020 Bullet Journal Set-Up

I can’t believe it’s already October! Though this year has been crazy, it has gone by fast I think. October is not only my favorite month, but it starts the last quarter of year. So take out your Bullet Journals and come plan with me!

I know not many people do a full monthly spread but I like seeing the entire month laid out and I can put in important dates (like my birthday?). I printed the October heading off of google cause well frankly I’m not the best artist. Besides nobody ever said you have to draw everything in your bullet journal.

Also, any of the stickers in these spreads came out of The Happy Planner Fall Sticker Book, which you can get off of Amazon or at Michaels.

The next spread is a Fall Bucket List. I just absolutely love fall. It’s my favorite season. Everything about fall is awesome, from hiking through the colorful forest, or cozying up with a good book next to a fire. I’ve wrote a few bucket list items but I’m sure I’ll be adding more!

What are your favorite things to do in the fall? I’d love to know, comment down below!

Next up is something I’ve always wanted to do but never committed to it, a Photo-a-Day Challenge. I love photography but don’t get out that often to work on my hobby so this way I’ll be encouraged to even just take one photo each day. Also, fall is the best season to take pretty photos in my opinion?

The next spread I made is a self-care everyday spread. Right now I’m getting into the second half of the fall semester so getting overwhelmed and stressed from all the projects and exams happens every day. It’s good to take some time to yourself every day to destress and just take care of yourself. After all, you won’t be able to take a test if you’re stressed all the time or low on sleep.

If you’re looking for more self-care ideas, check out my past blogpost: https://alyssascreativelifestyle.com/17-self-care-ideas-when-youre-feeling-down/

The last fun spread for October is a movie list. My boyfriend and I love watching scary movies, so we decided the only movies we are allowed to watch in October are horror or thrillers or just plain creepy. I wanted to keep track of how many we watch. I kinda started early as you can see, we already watch “Silence of the Lambs” and “Paranormal Activity 2” in the last week of September.

Let me know your favorite scary movie titles for this Halloween season. Maybe they’ll get added to our list!

And there you have it, those are my bullet journal spreads/collections for this month. I hope you got some inspiration for your own journals. Let me know what inspired you from my spreads. Have a great first week of October!
